I failed to photograph dinner because I was too busy trying to rally the troops to the table. Let’s be honest, nothing novel or complex.
- 4oz broiled steak
- Baked potato
- 1oz of cheddar for flavor on the potato
- Barely roasted carrots
The 5 yr old won’t eat “mushy” carrots, she prefers them raw, so my roasted carrots are still pretty hard. Normally I roast them with a drizzle of honey, but honey is on the ‘no’ list.
Grudgingly we got one of the kids to eat, the other one was in tantrum mode so probably wouldn’t have eaten anything.
I will write this one off as a success and I didn’t even have to buy anything special! We even already had the steaks in the freezer. Score!
